Book ’Em, a Pittsburgh-based non-profit organization, sends reading and educational material to prisoners across Pennsylvania. We are hosting a book drive for them to collect books on these subjects:
- Art and music history
- Arts and crafts/hobbies
- Puzzles
- History
Automotive/car-related - Computer science/programming
- Native American/Indigenous authors
- Beginning languages
- Superhero comics
- Small business ideas/self-employment
- Paperback dictionaries
Please do not bring books that have spiral binding or writing/underlining; or are musty, stained, or outdated. Normal-size hardcovers are okay (no heavy hardcovers, except text books).
A collection box is located at the Highland Ave. entrance.
