We celebrate the gifts, faith, questions, and compassion that are represented by the 11 youth who participated in ELPC’s Confirmation Class over the last eight months. Whether during an overnight at the church, a Sunday meeting after worship, or a Zoom gathering, these amazing young people have explored the foundational beliefs of our faith and discerned what they believe about God, the Church, and themselves.
Each youth has affirmed their desire to join ELPC as adult members and friends. They appeared before Session and were received as members during the Session meeting on May 19.
Their Confirmation journey will be celebrated in our worship service on Pentecost Sunday, May 31.
We look forward to celebrating their presence among us when we are able to formally gather in person. Please hold these youth in your prayers, giving thanks to God that they are a part of ELPC and God’s Church universal!
