Dear People of God,
As this year draws to a close, we are giving thanks for the many ways God’s Spirit has been moving through our ELPC family. Week after week, we have experienced heartfelt worship, deeper commitments to justice and compassion, and ministries that bring hope to our community. Your generosity makes this possible.
Last month, we launched our Grounded & Growing Stewardship Campaign with a bold and hopeful goal: 226 pledges totaling $700,000 for 2026.
As of December 22, we celebrate 198 pledges totaling $693,487—a beautiful sign of faith and commitment. Thank you to everyone who has already pledged! To reach our goal, we still need 28 more pledges and $6,513 in commitments. If you have not yet pledged, we invite you to join us. And if you have never pledged before, this is a wonderful moment to take that first step. A pledge is simply a practice of intention and an act of belonging. No matter the amount, every pledge helps us plan responsibly and minister boldly. Make your pledge online.
At the same time, we ask you to prayerfully consider a special end-of-year gift to support our year-end ministry and mission commitments. Your overflowing generosity this time of year will help us end the year strong and enable us to fulfill the practical work of love that extends beyond our walls. In addition to the magnificent music and special worship services this month, your gifts will help us fulfill our commitments to partnerships that are expanding affordable housing, ministries that feed and welcome neighbors experiencing homelessness and hunger, and our support of recovery communities meeting in East Liberty. These commitments are a vital expression of who we are as a church grounded in community and overflowing with love.
f you’ve already pledged for 2026, thank you. If you are able to make an additional year-end gift this month, your support strengthens our shared ministry for the road ahead. You can give online at or mail your gift to the church.
May we continue to dream big and dream boldly this Advent season!
In Christ,
—Pastor Michael
