The Interim Pastor Nominating Committee (IPNC) submitted our Ministry Information Form (MIF) to the Pittsburgh Presbytery in late July, after Session approval. In early August, the Pittsburgh Presbytery posted our MIF on Church Leadership Connections’ website for potential interim pastors to access.
We have received 11 Pastor Information Forms, and we’re reviewing them as they are submitted. During a September worship service, the IPNC will provide the congregation with an update on our progress.
We continue to ask for your support by:
- Praying for Pastors Heather and Patrice as they lead us during this time ahead of an interim pastor.
- Praying for our congregation that God will prepare us for our interim pastor.
- Praying for the IPNC for God’s discernment as we continue to move through this process.
- Praying for the candidates and their families as they discern God’s call to apply for our interim pastor position.
