As many of you know, a winter storm is expected to move through the Pittsburgh area late Saturday night into early Sunday morning, with forecasts calling for anywhere from 4 to 12 inches of snow. After prayerful and careful consideration, we have decided to cancel all in-person worship services and in-person programming this Sunday, January 25.
Many of us are used to Pittsburgh weather keeping us on our toes. Still, when it comes to the safety of our congregation, staff, musicians, and volunteers, we feel called to err on the side of care. Sometimes the most faithful thing we can do is stay home, keep warm, and check on our neighbors.
Another thing you can do is join us for online worship at 11 am on our YouTube channel and Facebook page. As long as we have electricity and internet, we are confident we can gather online this Sunday. We trust that even when plans shift, God’s presence does not. God’s presence is right where you are, wherever you are!
