Become a member or friend of ELPC
If you’re interested in becoming an ELPC member, or joining the church as a friend, attend one of our next Inquirers’ Classes.
Are you or someone you know thinking about joining ELPC as a member or friend, or would you like to transfer your membership from another church? We hold Inquirers’ Classes several times during the year. They are typically offered in two-parts and are a great chance to hear from church members and our pastoral staff about what it means to be a person of faith, and the ministry and vision of our church.
To find out when future classes will be offered, or for more information, call or email Jen King at 412.441.3800 x222. Please let Jen know if you need childcare. We hope you will join us soon. Members are received by the Session and then welcomed by the congregation during worship service with special prayers and an affirmation of faith.
About Membership at ELPC
A faithful member accepts Christ’s call to be involved responsibly in the ministry of the church. Such involvement includes taking part in the common life and worship of a particular church, supporting the work of the church through the giving of money, time, and talents, and responding to God’s activity in the world through service to others.
No person shall be denied membership because of race, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, worldly condition, or any other reason not related to profession of faith.
