Christmas Services
The season of Advent and Christmas is a time of joy and celebration. And this year, we are thankful to be able to celebrate the good news of Christ’s birth together.
Join us in person or virtually for our Christmas Eve services on Sunday, December 24. Make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel or follow us on Facebook to receive a notification when streaming begins.
Christmas Eve Friends & Family Service | Tuesday, December 24, 5 pm
Celebrate the birth of Jesus at our early Christmas Eve service. This family friendly service will feature an intergenerational celebration of Christ’s birth—with many of the families in our congregation, carols, Communion, and a candle-lit version of Silent Night.
Christmas Eve Candlelight Service | Tuesday, December 24, 10 pm
Celebrate the birth of Jesus at our traditional Candlelight Christmas Eve service. Special prelude music will begin at 9:30 pm, and will include The Brass Roots, soloists, and the Adult Choir—along with special readings and lighting of candles while we sing Silent Night.
Blue Christmas Service | Friday, December 6, 7 pm
During the holiday season, there is an expectation to be happy and filled with festive joy. Sadly, many people are struggling emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually. Through loss, heartache, sadness, or grief, some of us have trouble being in the holiday spirit.
To offer comfort and healing in a time of darkness, ELPC’s Board of Deacons will host our annual Blue Christmas Service. This special service is intended to help people hold onto the nativity message of hope. Everyone is welcome to join us in the Chapel for a meditative time of prayer, reflection, and singing.
