Here’s what’s happening this week in worship at ELPC.

Easter Sunday

Alleluia, Christ is risen! Easter is more than lilies and alleluias. Easter is the promise that love gets the final word, that stones can be rolled away, and that hope rises even from the gloomiest places.
With hope-filled music, sacred scripture, and an inclusive celebration of the Lord’s Supper, we will proclaim a message of good news for all people. Whether you come with deep faith or hurting hearts, you are welcome in this sacred space. All are invited!

Journey Worship | Sunday, 8:45 am

An interactive, energetic service for those seeking a fresh encounter with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Pastor Michael will preach from Matthew 28:1–10 (Inclusive Bible). Join us in our new Journey worship location, the Chapel. At this time, we are unable to livestream the service.

Sanctuary Worship | Sunday, 11 am

Our largest service, with music from the Chancel Choir and an organ prelude prior to the service. Pastor Michael will preach from Matthew 28:1–10 (Inclusive Bible) and deliver his sermon, “The Good News is…Even Tombs can Bloom.”

Taizé Prayer Service | Wednesday, 7 pm

Join us in the Chapel to experience Taizé’s prayerful songs and quiet meditation as we dwell in the Sermon on the Mount to ground and inspire us in the radical teachings of Jesus, and seek to be salt and light in our own troubled times.
