Pastoral Message | February 2026
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because the Spirit has anointed me to bring good news…”—Luke 4:18
How are you feeling these days? Stressed? Worried? Hopeless? It’s hard to deny how our world is saturated with breaking news, bad news, halftruths, and endless commentary competing for our attention. It can feel disorienting, exhausting, and even soul-numbing. Read More
Winter Weather Update | January 23, 2026
As many of you know, a winter storm is expected to move through the Pittsburgh area late Saturday night into early Sunday morning, with forecasts calling for anywhere from 4 to 12 inches of snow. After prayerful and careful consideration, we have decided to cancel all in-person worship services and in-person programming this Sunday, January 25.
Many of us are used to Pittsburgh weather keeping us on our toes. Still, when it comes to the safety of our congregation, staff, musicians, and volunteers, we feel called to err on the side of care. Sometimes the most faithful thing we can do is stay home, keep warm, and check on our neighbors.
Another thing you can do is join us for online worship at 11 am on our YouTube channel and Facebook page. As long as we have electricity and internet, we are confident we can gather online this Sunday. We trust that even when plans shift, God’s presence does not. God’s presence is right where you are, wherever you are!

Beginning in January 2026, members and congregants will have the opportunity to sponsor customized floral arrangements for the chancel. For the price of $260, individuals, groups, and families can sponsor two lush arrangements of fresh, seasonal flowers to memorialize or honor loved ones, celebrate special occasions, or mark liturgical milestones.
Sponsors will be recognized for their contributions in several ways—via social media posts; in the bulletin; on the slides that rotate prior to the Sanctuary Worship service; and, with a special acknowledgement by the Pastor during that Sunday’s Welcome and Announcements. Read More
