Connections
ELPC is a BIG place. Connections is one way we make it small.
Connections is an informal way to meet and socialize with other people in the church. New groups of 8–12 people are formed each fall, with the next set starting in October. Anyone can join (new or returning), and all are welcome. The point is to get to know others at ELPC and make connections.
Commitment is to gather and participate with your group 4–8 times per year. The more you attend, the more you connect. Connections Captains start things off by hosting the first event. After that, others in the group take turns hosting or arranging events. Most popular options include potlucks in homes or at the church after a service, or meeting at a restaurant or park. Hosts have the freedom to create an event they are comfortable hosting. It’s very flexible—the point is to get together for casual conversation, often share a meal, get to know more people at ELPC, and connect.
